German Christmas Market in Florence

Here you can have a sauerkraut and pork snack, or look for new decorations for the Christmas tree. Offering spicecake, Buzlau ceramics, strudel and handcrafted toys, it’s the most traditional of Florence’s Christmas markets.
Alternative Christmas Market in Florence
A lot of time has passed since Florentines made fun of the farmer women who came to sell at this market, but this fair still brings traditional handicrafts with it along with organic agriculture and biodynamic gastronomy.
Small local producers will display their goods in Piazza Santissima Annunziata from the 8th to the 9th of December. You will be able to buy everything needed to prepare a Christmas Eve dinner which fully respects nature. With games, events and workshops, this market is also appropriate for the smallest children.
